In Sans Souci Art Glass Studios, Inc., have been creating works of art in glass measuring since 1976. All-BE-It is true that our articles Most popular are the door and window glass, the second is "Runner Up" is our decorative glass for bathrooms.
Each bathroom has a few elements that are already under glass .. that can be transformed into personalized creations custom designed to suit any preference or style, to complement any decor. Contemporary glass, with different patterns and textures etched glass and carved, Sans Soucie creates an unlimited range of design styles.
Without Soucie Art Glass Studios prints and sculpts the glass surface sanding glass. (Sans Soucie makes no acid etching or other machine or laser engraving). A little sanding lesson:
Glass is the treatment of sandblasted surfaces produced using compressed air to spray the glass with an abrasive to roughen one or both sides. Sanding the surface of diffuse light transmission, reduces glare and gives the glass a "mate" appearance. "Glass can be burned or carved solid or shaded to leave the light areas in the glass.
"Crystal engraving" is a generic term for treatment of the glass surface to diffuse light transmission, reduce glare and make the glass, white ice. Without Soucie impressions sandblasted glass. "Burning" the glass (sculpture), means that sandblasted glass enough to affect the glass surface only. Engraving is not further in the glass and creates an embossed effect. "Carved Glass" has been blasting deeper into the surface, creating a three dimensional image carved carving a relief design, creating a much more detailed to obtain different depths in the carved image. THE EDGE carved in the image actually appear more white and shiny as collect and reflect ambient light. The image appears three dimensional, as if floating in the glass.
