Custom Metal Signs

Is it possible to get custom made metal signs?
For my photography project i have been recreating 1950s adverts. I was thinking that a nice way to present my final piece, was to somehow transfer it or create it into one of those, metal plaques that were used.

Does anyone know if it is possible to create these easily, and where i may be able to have them made?

They can be made on a sand table with a ball peen hammer then painted. You need the outline of the raised part on the back. Then hammer it out a bit. Turn it over and paint. Not to hard for anyone who is good with metal to make the raised sign. Might have to go to a different person for the design and painting.
