Employees must sign electronic input and output by the law?
I work at a place and not let me enter the computer I record the times who worked and have their own calendar. For example, if I'm in the work schedule of 8 2, but if I stayed until 2:15. I'm not paid for these 15 minutes is that what is not no law that says I have to sign in / out by an electronic signature. Thank You:)
No matter what state you work, if the employee works overtime are not paid by the company, it is illegal ... period. They did not establish an "electronic signal input / output" for you, but do not need your finding that the hours they have to pay are correct. Did you sign the time sheets that they use to calculate the duration of all? Do you watch, or a card Perforated? If not, you should keep notes of the correct times and show differences supervisor. Please note that failure to include overtime, and you decide to work non-approval, expected to be paid for that time but can be penalized for failing to follow its policy of no overtime. It is a Catch 22 situation here. You can also contact your local labor board. Search online for your state and the board of the investigation. Find a number you can call and ask questions. They are nice people to talk to, surprising, and willing to assist employees in most cases. They are what protect you.
