Lighted Open Signs

Considering there are no signs of fire soot inside certain pyramids, how did the Egyptians light there tombs?
Its known that not enough oxygen is in found in some tombs to support open flame what method did the Egyptions use for lighting?.. some thoughts are the ancient "Baghdad Battery", using the sun light and copper mirrors to reflect light within.. so whats you thoughts?

My immediate thought was mirrors and sunlight.
As far as I know, all lighting was flame-sourced in those days, other that re-directed sunlight. I guess that this will cause further speculation about aliens actually building the pyramids:
